JAZZ AIN'T DEAD Presents:  The JAD Café is our set designed for smaller venues.  Like the JAD Lounge, this set features intimate performances of our artists doing original songs composed exclusively for Jazz Ain't Dead and by our own Chris Rob and Teodross Avery, plus funky new arrangements of classic jazz, and top R&B covers re-imagined into a jazz-inspired sound.  Please note that the JAD Café is not a full show like Standards on Steroids, Porgy & Bess, or Nu Soundz, Nu Grooves, but a low-key presentation with only two to four musicians and a select number of dancers.

JAZZ AIN'T DEAD: 

Main Event  is our live stage show with everything but the kitchen sink!  And, it's the perfect show for a concert hall or outdoor jazz fest...  Depending on the presenter and venue, our show features a full cast of dancers, live band, live singers, and a live DJ for a fun-filled experience of great music and brilliant dancing.   Shows may also feature multi-media displays and concert lighting in certain venues and top recording artists from both the jazz and the R&B world as special guests.  Playlist includes jazz-inspired interpretations of popular music, classical jazz standards re-ignited into house, funk, acid jazz, and soul, and original songs of jazz fusion by Jazz Ain't Dead and guests.  Major recording artists are available upon request.

JAZZ AIN'T DEAD Presents:  The JAD Lounge - Straight Up, No Chaser is an intimate acoustic set where Jazz Ain't Dead performs classic jazz standards and new jazz songs in it's true intention... low-key and totally unplugged.  Just a piano, bass and horn or two complemented by our beautiful dancers, our artists will delight you with class and distinguished style.  Great for loft soirees, a wine and cheese, and gallery events or non-traditional venues with small spaces.
