Nu Soundz, Nu Grooves is our set featuring our dancers and original music by the Jazz Ain't Dead Family. No covers or jazz standards here... This is all new music written and arranged by our band or in collaboration with our very special friends. Series includes music performed by our very own Teodross Avery from his album, "Bridging the Gap" and "The Diva's Choice" and Chris Rob's latest release, "Mental Notes."

The JAD Café is our set designed for smaller venues. Like the JAD Lounge, this set features intimate performances of our artists doing original songs composed exclusively for Jazz Ain't Dead and by our own Chris Rob and Teodross Avery, plus funky new arrangements of classic jazz, and top R&B covers re-imagined into a jazz-inspired sound. Please note that the JAD Café is not a full show like Standards on Steroids, Porgy & Bess, or Nu Soundz, Nu Grooves, but a low-key presentation with only two to four musicians and a select number of dancers.

Celebrates the Legacy of George Gershwin's Porgy & Bess is a live music concert that showcases all new versions of the internationally beloved music of Porgy & Bess. This high-energy production transforms Gershwin's classic score into the music styles of House, Funk, Jazz, and Soul and performs them in a way never seen or heard before! All full shows feature live vocalists, live musicians, a live DJ, and live dancers!

When JAZZ AIN'T DEAD tours from city to city, more than likely there will be a club party for you to dance the night away. All of our parties feature house music classics, funk, and soul spun by our very own resident mix master, DJ NYCK Henry and other special guests. Look for our Jazz Ain't Dead dancers to drop-in and wow the crowd with an impromtu club performance or our Jazz Ain't Dead musicians to perform and play right along with the ones and twos. This party is tailored made for the lovers of dance; so, come dressed to sweat!** Drummers and other musicians are always welcome to attend with instruments. **All patrons are subject to the dress code policies established by participating venues. The JAD Lounge II - Swag Sexy is our concept in true JAZZ at it's grown and sexiest. In The JAD Lounge II concerts, music from today's R&B giants are re-arranged into soulful yet classical jazz rhythms inspired by the traditional Jazz standards of yesteryear. New audiences can hear their favorite Top 40 tunes in clever new ways while at the same time appreciating the real sound structure of Jazz. The JAD Lounge II may be performed enhanced or totally unplugged with piano.
